Kick back jacks breakfast portion is huge. I would say the portions are like claim jumpers portions. The service is is a bit slow however is worth the wait. I had the Meat lovers skillet. In it had bacon, eggs fried your way, mushrooms, cheese, onions, apple sausage, salsa, shredded beef with a side of toast. If you plan to have pancakes, their pancakes are fairly big so I got one.

I heard that the must try and popular item to get is the waffles. The restaurant is clean, customer service is friendly and professional. With norms across the way and being at regular at norms, I'd pick Kick back jacks for portion and quality in taste. It's a tad pricey in comparison to Norms but totally worth the buck

After a long hike, my friends and I enjoyed the Baja Shrimp and Bahama Mama Skillet. Priced at 17, and 16.50 each they were a little pricey for what they give you but the two were perfectly sized for the three of us. We definitely prefer the Bahama Mama Skillet more because of the cheese and Chipotle Sauce, worth going a second time.

Update: I'd love to see if the Bahama Mama can be made with Tater Tots instead of the sliced potatoes

After a 8.5 mile hike, where I only snacked on an Rx bar, I was hungry and could eat anything.

Ordered the avocado Monterey Jack burger, eggs Benedict and their special Bahama skillet special. The only thing that was *good* was the Bahama skillet special - although, the avocado they topped on top of it was slightly brown/spotty. Not pretty. The last third of my avocado Monterey cheese burger was raw (beware!!) and their eggs Benedict was drenched in a watered-down hollandaise sauce (Yuck!). The only redeeming factor was that they perfectly soft-boiled the eggs.

Given all the great reviews, I'm not sure if my experience was a one off, but I won't be back. It was about $49 before tip and I left crestfallen.

We celebrated my brothers Birthday by going to Kick Back Jack's (BC Cafe)

We ended up getting 6 different plates/meals and shared everything!

We did 2 orders of Super Home Fries (they ask for the potatoes cooked well done) and they were perfect! *See pictures*

    Other menu items we ordered:
*Bahama Mama Skillet (huge, flavorful and delicious)
*Dirty Berry and Banana Waffle (they forgot to make it "dirty" so they took it back and added the chocolate and cream cheese, but by the time they brought it back, the waffle wasn't warm enough to melt the big piece of chocolate or cream cheese block)
*Avocado Pico Omelette (kind of bland according to my sister, but my brothers didn't mind it, my sister said it would be a good vegetarian option)
*Waffle and Chicken Crisps (the Chicken looked a little underwhelming but was tasty and crispy, good with their ranch or honey mustard sauce, the waffle was good)

Tonya was a great waitress and they even came and sang a Happy Birthday song and brought a scoop of ice cream with whipped cream and sprinkles!

Great breakfast place for large parties to get what they want!

**We got there at 7:30am and didn't have to wait, but by the time we left at 8:30am it was getting a little busy, so expect to wait for a while if you go later than 9am**

Our server was wonderful. A nicer person you would never meet!

The food (breakfast) was mediocre at best. I would say this type of food is like something at an airport or gas station.

There's a guy who seems to be a manager who didn't like the fact that we sent the breakfast tacos back. My son got  grossed out and lost his appetite. Don't make US feel bad about YOUR food!

He said it wasn't horrible but it wasn't good either. The food presentation was not appealing and other than the fresh squeezed OJ everything else was basically tummy filler.

The place gets very busy and there was a big wait when we left... guess it's making people happy so, I guess try it for yourself and make the decision for yourself!

Super wait staff, nice, clean atmosphere and comfortable. Also, plenty of parking in the back.
